CHURCH OF ST CATHERINE

The Church of St Catherine is a Catholic church adjacent to the Nativity Church in Bethlehem. In the 4th century St. Catherine of Alexandria was an advocate of Christianity who was beheaded by Emperor Maximian for her faith.
On 25 December the Christmas Mass is celebrated and broadcaster worldwide from this church, not from the Nativity Church.
