HAARI ASHKENAZI SYNAGOGUE

The Ari Ashkenazi Synagogue in Safed is the oldest synagogue still in use in Israel. The synagogue was built in the 16th century in memory of Rabbi Ari, a well-known kabbalist whol lived in Safed.
